Driving along AS Fortuna (coming from the direction of J Centre Mall), I happened to notice the bright white and pink neon sign atop a building on the right side of the road. This piqued my curiosity instantly. Could there be something at the rooftop?

As it turns out, there’s a new building right after Benedicto College in the area which used to be an empty lot some 5 years ago. This new building, named as FPN Epic Center, houses a convenience store (Marty Mart), salon (Colorbar), a laundry shop (Bluewash) and some more shops that are soon to open. At the 10th floor, they have a restaurant that goes by the name of 10G Resto. This was the place which had the bright neon signage!

Last night, I had the chance to visit this place together with my friends from university days. It was a Friday night and we wanted to chill so I suggested this place and I think I did a decent job because they liked it. The rooftop setting was perfect for us to slow down after a tiring work week instead of heading out to party (hell yeah #adulting).

Exploring the area, I found out that they have function rooms (one can accommodate around 20pax and the other is around 50pax I guess?). It’s a good place for private events like birthday parties, company meetings, press conferences, and the likes. For reservations and inquiries, you may call the numbers I included at the end of this post.

10G Resto servesย Japanese rice meals, Ramen, Yakitori, Sushi, Maki, Tempura, Sashimi, Salad, deep-fried selections, and Bento selections with drinks like SanMig, Red Horse, Sapporo, and Kirin. There’s also bottled water, iced tea, and soda for those who are not into alcoholic drinks.

My gal pals and I were kind of hungry so we ordered quite a lot of food: Shoyu Ramen (P180.00 – promo?), Chicken Karaage (P250.00), Squid Tempura (P180.00), Okonomiyaki (P200.00), plain rice, and iced tea.

The ramen was a bit bland for me and my friends’ taste so we thought it could use some salt, pepper, and chili powder. The food wasn’t exactly bad, it was just bland. Or maybe Japanese food is served really like that? Either way, we still had our tummies full after chowing down our orders.

I’d like to commend their customer service. The staff were accommodating and answered our questions well. They even gave recommendations on which food to eat. Ambiance was good too. Though I think they can improve on their lighting because it can get hard for people who have bad eyesight (meeeeeee!), not able to see the menu properly.

After our Japanese dinner, we headed upstairs (11th floor) for our dessert time. Yes, there’s another chill place upstairs! And that’s where the bright neon sign was exactly located! But but but.. that will have to be for my next post! ๐Ÿ˜‰
